The exhibition Intertwined Universes brings together three artists whose practices, while distinct, converge in a shared pursuit to understand the invisible, translate emotion, and give form to the intimate.
Emmanuel Lekryst describes his act of creation as a refuge, almost a form of relief. He explores the paracosm, a mental and symbolic territory, to express ideas, emotions, and inner or spiritual conflicts. His visual language has been shaped through this search for meaning, opening onto what lies beyond the visible the intangible, the spiritual, the enigmatic.
Massa Diomandé seeks to capture the essence and spiritual depth of his subjects. Inspired by his dreams and recurring visions of a deceased uncle appearing as a beam of light, he explores the metaphysical dimension of spiritual connection and transcendence. Each element in his work carries meaning and reinforces the message he aims to convey.
Pierre Aimé Youan translates his most vivid emotions from daily life and lived moments onto canvas. His practice becomes an outlet, a way to channel his energy and transform experience into pictorial material. Each painting reflects a moment in time.
Together, their works weave a sensitive dialogue between visible and invisible worlds. Intertwined Universes emerges from a shared desire to decode life, question the mysteries that surround us, and make perceptible the silent forces that guide our steps.
